Scope
This RUO Policy governs all products sold by Priority Aminos LLC (“Priority Aminos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using our products, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy.
1) RUO Status & Intended Use
- RUO-only: All products are supplied strictly for Research Use Only in laboratory settings by qualified personnel. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, clinical or diagnostic use, therapeutic or prophylactic use, household use, or any use in or on humans or animals.
- Labeling & representations: Products are labeled and marketed for RUO. No statement on our website, invoices, labels, or communications should be interpreted as medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, veterinary, or regulatory approval.
- No clinical decision-making: Products must not be used to make medical, veterinary, or public-health decisions.
2) Purchaser Qualifications & Eligibility
- Age & role: You confirm you are at least 18 years old and purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, company, or institution, or as a qualified researcher.
- Verification: We may request end-use confirmations, business or institutional details, shipping to a non-residential address, or other documentation to verify RUO status.
- Right to decline: We may refuse, hold, or cancel orders that do not meet RUO requirements, conflict with applicable law, or raise risk/fraud concerns.
3) Product Format, Handling & Safety
- Format: Products are supplied as lyophilized powders unless stated otherwise.
- No protocols or materials provided: We do not supply protocols, reagents, solvents, or consumables for reconstitution or use. The purchasing laboratory is responsible for proper method development, validation, and compliance.
- Reconstitution & storage: If you choose to reconstitute materials, this must be performed by qualified personnel using appropriate sterile technique, suitable solvent/buffer, aseptic equipment, and validated procedures. Follow appropriate storage conditions, aliquoting practices, and disposal procedures per your lab’s SOPs.
- Safety & SDS: Handle all research chemicals as potentially hazardous. Use appropriate PPE, engineering controls, and waste disposal in accordance with your institutional EHS requirements. Safety Data Sheets (SDS), where available, can be requested at support@priorityaminos.com.
4) Prohibited Uses
- Human or animal consumption, dosing, administration, implantation, or any in vivo application.
- Clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use, including any use that informs patient care or veterinary treatment.
- Household, food, cosmetic, or recreational use.
- Manufacturing of finished drugs, biologics, or medical devices for human/animal use.
- Any activity that violates applicable law or requires approvals/clearances that you do not hold.
5) Documentation, Traceability & COA
- Certificates of Analysis (COA): COAs provided by upstream vendors are maintained internally by Priority Aminos for regulatory purposes (e.g., FDA inspection readiness). They are not distributed to customers.
- Public Lot code: For traceability, we may display a Public Lot code derived from a private vendor lot identifier. Public Lot codes support order-to-lot traceability without exposing supplier-confidential identifiers.
- Recordkeeping: Priority Aminos retains all required batch-level documentation for compliance. Customers should retain purchase records and internal experimental documentation consistent with their institutional policy and applicable regulations.
6) Compliance With Laws & Institutional Policies
You are responsible for ensuring that your acquisition, handling, storage, and disposal of products comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and your institutional policies (e.g., OSHA/EHS, hazardous waste rules, import/export, and customs requirements).
If you are developing assays, devices, or workflows that are regulated (e.g., clinical diagnostics), you must obtain any required approvals/clearances independently and must not use our RUO-labeled products where regulated use is prohibited.
Where applicable, you agree to implement appropriate IRB/IACUC or other oversight for any research involving human or animal materials. Our products are not to be used in or on humans or animals.
7) Export Controls, Sanctions & Restricted Destinations
Purchaser represents they are not on any sanctions or restricted-party lists and will not export, re-export, transfer, or use products contrary to U.S. export control laws and applicable foreign laws.
We may decline or cancel orders to embargoed destinations or restricted parties/entities.
8) Resale & Redistribution
Without our prior written consent, you may not resell, repackage, relabel, or redistribute products. Any permitted transfer must maintain RUO labeling and this Policy.
9) Quality Concerns & Product Issues
If you believe a product is defective or inconsistent with RUO labeling, contact support@priorityaminos.com within 14 days of delivery, including your order number, product/lot, and supporting data/photos.
We may request additional information or a return of material for evaluation. Remedies may include replacement or refund per our Returns & Refunds Policy.
10) Warranties & Disclaimers
Products are provided “as is” for research purposes and without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except to the extent expressly stated in product listings or accompanying documentation. We do not warrant suitability for clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or in vivo applications.
11) Enforcement & Consequences
We may investigate suspected misuse or violations of this Policy.
We may refuse or cancel orders, suspend accounts, restrict shipping methods, or report suspected unlawful activity to payment processors, platforms, or authorities as permitted by law.
12) Policy Changes
We may update this RUO Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The version posted on this page is the governing version.

Checkout Acknowledgment (Recommended)
We require purchasers to acknowledge RUO status during checkout. Suggested text for the required checkbox:
“I confirm I am 18+ and purchasing on behalf of a qualified laboratory/institution. I understand all items are Research Use Only (RUO), not for human or animal use, and I agree to handle, store, and dispose of materials per applicable laws and my institution’s SOPs.”
